Tell me a Story
Tell me a story. About your life. Don't skimp on the details. We have all night
I'll have the salmon, she'll have the beef. Where have you traveled? What are your beliefs?
There's something in her teeth. But she seems cool. She's telling me jokes about. How drummers drool.
Chorus A: I said ooh that stings - like a shot through the heart. But I think you're funny. And that's a good start.
Instrumental.
Chorus A:
I ordered a sake bomb. To show that I'm fun. She goes to the bathroom to freshen up. And when she gets back, there's nothing in her teeth. That was a dagger to her self esteem.
We drink down the sake bombs. I pay for the check. I walked her to her car, but the night's not done yet.
Chorusy B:
I said that was great, but it's getting late. I have to go, but she said wait. I have an idea, the beach is right here. Let's take off all of our clothes and forget all fear. I said I don't know. But then she took my hand. Our clothes in the sand. My lips on her lips. I'll never forget, that night that we met, but she started school. And now I've got it bad.
